Privacy Policy

Threadsly (“we”, “us”) is a creator marketplace platform for Malaysia's Threads creator economy. This privacy policy explains the data we collect when you use our services, including the Free Verified Audit.

a. Public Threads profile data (“Verified Data”). When you request an audit, we retrieve data from the public Threads profile only for the handle you provide, for example: the handle, public follower count, public engagement metrics (likes/replies/reposts), bio, and public profile picture. We do not access private accounts, never ask for your Threads password, and never post anything on your behalf.

b. Information you provide. Your email (if you save/“claim” your score or register), niche, location, content formats, and creator/brand profile details.

c. Identity verification (KYC) & payout data. Before your first withdrawal, we ask creators for their full name as per NRIC and a photo of the NRIC (front only), plus bank account details (bank name, account number, account holder name). We collect this for one purpose: to verify that payouts go to the right person and to prevent fraud. The NRIC photo is reviewed once by our team and then permanently deleted. We keep only your verified name and your bank details (needed to process payouts). We never collect your NRIC number as a separate field, and identity documents are never publicly accessible.

d. Usage data. Basic usage events (e.g. audit started/completed, shares) for analytics and product improvement, plus technical data such as device type and pages visited.

• To generate your Creator Score and improvement recommendations.
• To match creators with relevant brand opportunities/campaigns.
• To verify creator identity before payouts and prevent payment fraud (see Section 2c).
• To send opportunities or updates only if you opt in to notifications.
• To improve scoring accuracy and the platform experience.

We process personal data based on your consent and our legitimate interest in providing the services you request. For Threads profile data, we only process information that is already publicly available. You may withdraw consent at any time (see Section 7).

We do not sell your personal data. Creator information is shared with brands only after you join the platform and/or give consent, and profiles are shown to brands anonymously until you confirm a collaboration. We may use third-party technical providers (e.g. data processing, hosting, payments) subject to reasonable safeguards.

We retain data for as long as needed to provide the services or as required by law. NRIC photos submitted for identity verification are deleted immediately after review(whether approved or rejected). We retain only the verified name. You may request deletion of your data at any time.

Under the PDPA, you have the right to:

• Access and correct your personal data.
• Request deletion of your data or profile.
• Withdraw consent / opt out of notifications.

We use browser local storage (localStorage) to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
